Villian is a regular playing at 18/13/ 101 hands. I have been 3-betting him light. I can't just call the flop becaus the board is pretty drawy right? Did I raise too much on the flop or is that standard? Is this the best way to get the most value out of him?

mb a 28 bet on the flop but i honesly like your play... this is a threebet pot and u cant let him draw with aq ak for free and qq+ might push it in.

I'd c/c and crai on a non KQ turn.

Do you not have any reads?

You're over-raising. A pot-sized raise here is 26.75, so make it 25 or so and you're denying odds, but still trying to give him a lower ceiling to call.

26.75 is the pot once hero's call is placed in so a pot sized raise is $7.5 more than that....call the 7.5 and raise another 26.75.

Lead flop for 2/3d or 3/4d of the pot. You will prob get raised a lot if you do that. And I don't think board is pretty drawy vs range villain has. (Rainbow board and stuff).

As played I would check call, lead turn prob, cause a check raise on this board is just to strong and really gives away your hand.
