Starting hands from O8 FL and PL
 

I have mostly played 2/4 FL 08 for the last two years, but I found a live 1/2 PL 08 game that I was invited to tomorrow night, and I am kind of unexperienced. Mostly from the idea of which starting hands are more acceptable. How should I adjust?

You might want to pick up a book or two. You won't be able to learn the whole book in one day, but at least that can give you a head start. Try High-Low-Split Poker by Ray Zee.

In the meantime, just play tight, observe the players, and what they are playing. Don't overplay your low hands, it can cost you alot in PL. Try to play 2-way hands that can scoop. Position becomes more important than in fixed limit. Good luck.

I ended up a 110 dollar winner last night. I played more conservatively for a PL game cause I generally play aggressive in NLHE. But it worked to my advantage and I raked a few bigs pots.
