It was a good semi bluff.

He could either win if the other guy folded, or win by hitting his combo draw to make the best hand. For those wondering what his combo draw consisted of, he had two types of back door straight draws. He could make it the way he did with the 5 and the 6, or he could hit an 8 and a 10 for the higher winning straight. He figured to possibly have live runner runner trip outs or two pair outs also, so unfortunately for him some of his potential outs were dead.

I wouldn't have folded _ _ tbh imo. If its played like Scrabble, then these two cards are whatever you want them to be - as is your stack size.

Its not a bad beat. If the guy who flopped a set bet 1/2 pot or pot he wins. But he made it look like a stupid bluff.
