$25 PLO thought process
 

I want to walk through my thought process as I did not feel too good with the way this hand played.

The table was loose and wild aggro. I called with a coordinated hand and 6 saw the flop. I bet top 2 with the low str8, though the bet was half the pot so that I could get away from the hand if I get popped.

The turn was my low str8 card, but the double suits scared me, so I lead with a pot sized bet. When I was reraised, I thought that I was freerolled. I reraised, thinking that his minraise was weak. I did not want the call. Was that the right line with the nuts facing big redraws?

I may have considered raising pre-flop...
I may have done a full pot-bet on the flop...
I would have almost certainly folded to SB's re-raise/all-in as you are probably facing people with flush draws with no defensive cards.

Raise preflop. Pot the flop. You could call mini-raise on turn. Getting it allin is not a bad thing either.

I don't like the 1/2 pot bet on the flop. You want to hammer this. You've got a strong hand and you want to make a real bet here. The turn's super-standard though. You've got the nuts with a 4-out freeroll and you're rarely going to be in bad shape.

The only problem with shoving the turn is that I am shoving into 2 flush redraws, plus the higher str8. I think that is 29 outs on the turn.

The problem with not pushing is that your opponent will be able to bluff you on all those scare cards.

Preflop is a raise. This is a clear raise, not a marginal situation. QJT9ds is one of the biggest hands.

Flop is a pot bet. If you had raised preflop, you would be committed to this hand, and it's not bad. As played, pot.

Turn is a pot bet. If you had raised preflop, you would already be all-in on the flop. If you didn't raise preflop but had potted flop, you would be shallow enough to comfortably call a raise all-in.

Instead, you have a crappy situation caused by insufficient betting on previous rounds. However, you have to get it all-in.

The queen hit on the river, so I scooped it. The villians both had the str8 and the flushes covered.
