Re: stud hi/lo -- trips showing drawing flush

I just started playing stud/8 at laughably low stakes (same as these), but I don't like anything except 4th st and your fold on 7th.

On 5th, guy who pairs 3s bets - what does he have? Can't be a low draw. Unlikely to be a bare pair of 3s. In fact, what did he call 4th with? Buried pair or a T seems kinda likely.

I figure you're probably drawing dead on 6th. 5th... I don't have enough experience to call it. The runner-runner low possibility plus the flush draw might make it worth it.

LOL at seat 3.

Maybe he thought he was playing on Absolute, where presumably that is a qualifying low.

6th is a fold and it's not close. Seat 2 called two bets on 4th and led out on 5th after pairing his door card and into someone who could conceivably have a straight. What odds do you think you have? That:

o 3T33 doesn't have a boat and won't make one?
o you catch a spade or the case 8 and it'll be good?
o even if you do make your hand you'll get to showdown for just one bet?

Not even close to being worth trying to find out. Dump it.

You have a marginal hand on third street. It's worth a call, but I'm not in love with my hand by any means. On fourth, your hand is worth a bet, but I wouldn't be jamming with it, especially in a three-way pot. By sixth, things have gone to hell for you. There's a pretty good chance that you're drawing dead, and even if you're not, the Treys can always fill up on you. Also, there's a pretty fair chance that you're playing for half the pot. Sixth is a very easy fold.

Seat 3 is my hero.
