Bubble Situation - Small Stack UTG w/ AKo

At the time I felt it was very close, but opted to fold. What do u think? Or do I have to take a chance?

Its an fpp qualifier, top 7 is a flat payout.

I agree that this is pretty close. I think it depends on how the table had been playing. If it had been fairly active then I fold here. If everyone had been really tight then it might be a shove. With no reads I would guess the play in an fpp satellite would be bad enough to make this a fold.

It's indeed very close, but it's more likely one of your opponents with a short stack screw up first. Good fold.

I push here, you are down under 7BB will be at 5BB in 2 hands. You either need the blinds, to pay them, or double up. Odds are this is the best hand you'll see for a round or two and you don't have that many left.

If the blinds will stack the shortie before you, just fold. Otherwise, shove and take it down.

If the other short stacks seem to be bad, I think its a fold, because they'll be gone soon.

If not, and they seem to play well, shove.

Awful spot, but I would push. Big stacks should fold to your push since they have already qualified. So you are only afraid of the two small stacks and they will need very, very good hands to call.
If you don't push, you'll be the smallest stack very soon

I think the most important read here is on the big stacks, not the other short stacks. They're going to get desperate soon and shove. Are the big stacks all savvy enough to call and check it down? Shoving UTG in this situation is a bit riskier than I like. Too many chances to get called down, even by one of the other shorties.

I'd lay it down and give the other shorties plenty of chances to panic. A better place to shove is on the button when it's been folded around to you. It doesn't matter much what your cards are, I don't think. When you're on the button, one of the other shorties will be BB and you'll just have one big stack between you and him.

I'd wait.
