FTP Doublestack 30 Left AT in BB

Am I 3Betting all in here? I had been at the table for less than two orbits and had only folded one hand after I coldcalled a UTG raise and then folded to BTN push. With 20 BBs am I supposed to fold this. If I take down this pot, I increase my chips from 75K to 100K.

I'm shoving.

I don't hate shoving, just keep in mind that your hand does very poorly against his likely calling range. If you would fold 98s here then you need to fold ATo.

With only two orbits of information I am leaning toward folding this. I know it's a button raise but I wouldn't want to shove into a uber nit and be out of the tourney.

a shove is very profitable given how often he folds and sometimes calls with a lesser hand (people call with like A6 and KQ and stuff, may fold like 55 or something). i think you're giving way too much credit to a button raise if you are folding this.

Shoving should be +EV whatever his calling range, assuming he has some sort've standard button open raising range. I'm not sure AT does so badly against his range, I think you do get looked up by some worse aces, KQ, etc. I do also shove here with 98s though, it's a very good resteal opportunity.

i think calling can be ok here. we can bet flop as bluff...c-rai flop as a bluff..c-rai for value or bet for value based on texture. shoving is fine. folding is weak imo. i would rarely if ever fold here.

You should be going all in here 100% of the time.

I really disagree. I think calling is very bad. Hero has 19 BB's vs a button raise with a very strong hand considering expected ranges.

If you call there is going to be a number of flops where doing something like check/shoving is a spew (if you're doing it 100% of the time.) Plus there's not a single flop i would lead.

You don't want to call preflop here because you have a stack where if you push you have FE. I don't think this hand is a stop n' go candidate. Not to mention that with FE + a calling range that may include 99/88, you are doing just fine.
