Winstar weeknight tournaments
 

Anybody play these? Structure sounds ok. I will be in McKinney, TX the next few days for work so I thought I might drive out and try one of these Monday or Tuesday night. Do they every sell out? I see on the website they limit them to the first 80 players. If I get there by 6:30 or 6:45 will I still be able to get in?

If not, I'm assuming they have a fair number of $1/$2 or slightly higher NL tables, correct?

i think its like a $60 buy in nightly and maybe a differ format for the weekend or something.

yea prolly 5-12 1-2nl tabls running at any given time and 2-2 2/5 tables going. lucky to find 5-10 though...they are all very very soft

The tournament structures aren't great, but if you can adjust to the fast moving blinds you should do OK.

You won't have any problem finding a cash game at $1/2 and 2/5 NL.

Thanks. Ended up working late both nights and didn't make it up there. Oh well, maybe next time...
