The PT Numbers

Ok I have read the sticky about the xx/yy/zz numbers and I am very confused.

What do they actually mean?
What is a good range for them?

Thanks

Re: The PT Numbers

xx/yy/zz represents:

xx: Percentage of the time you voluntarily put money in the pot (this is whenever you limp or raise or call a raise preflop, checking in the BB does not count towards this).

yy: Percentage of the time that you raise preflop.

zz: Postflop Aggression Factor. This tells you how often you bet or raise as opposed to calling. It takes the times you call divided by the times you bet or raise. Folding and checking have no effect on this number. example: in one hand you bet the flop, check raise the turn, then check call the river you would have an aggression factor of 2: (1 bet + 1 raise)/1 call.

For VPIP and PFR percentages I suggest getting PokerStove. You can put in the percentages to figure out what kind of hands your opponent is playing.

I made a mistake in my post - must be typing to fast - I said Postflop Aggression Factor was times you call divided by the times you bet or raise, it is actually the opposite, it should be the way I gave in the example: bet+raise/call.

I'm sorry, just read over the first few words...

To make up for it, I may have a helpful link for you as well. It's the MicroStakes LIMIT FAQ, but they have a detailed descriptions for nearly every PT stat.
