Lettting a friend log on and play on my FTP account?

I will be traveling for the next two months and will not have access to the internet for most of the time. With the threads I have seen about FTP freezing accounts I was concerned about the legality of having a friend play a couple of FTOPS satellites I won for me. In the event that he won a significant amount of money it would be a shame to see the funds confiscated. I emailed FTP support to ask them what their policy was. This was their response.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

My questions are as follows. In the event of a large win what is the general consensus on whether FTP would check the IP address and question whether it was in fact me playing on the account? Would this qualify as reason enough to freeze an account? Has anyone heard of someone being busted for this?

flame away. I just don't want to get myself into a situation where funds get frozen especially when it seems like there is no recourse if they make a ruling against you for an infraction against their rules.

Re: Lettting a friend log on and play on my FTP account?

i emailed them to clarify their rules. i can't have someone play for me now but at least i know what the policy is. thought process here was to clarify before running into a problem if a significant amount of money was won. I should have figured that i would receive alot of comments like "rolf" "lol" "wtf" at 2+2 because that is pretty standard. Nevermind. I'll find a hotel with internet.
