.25/.50 NL 240 BB deep (AK, too far?)

Ok I have been at this table for about an hour, and I have been bluffing alot, and they think I am a big bluffer. I am not playing donkish, its just been the cards Ive had, and how they were playd.

So here is an AK, and its on AP so no converter.

Please tell me if I played this 1 ok, or if I should have folded flop raise.

Seat 6 - UNGOCHRIK ($51.25 in chips)
Seat 1 - HERO ($165.03 in chips)
Seat 2 - XXSHEEVAAXX ($100 in chips)
Seat 3 - GREGMAN ($115.94 in chips)
Seat 4 - SCUBA67 ($10 in chips)
Seat 5 - 1CV81 ($120.90 in chips)
HERO - Posts small blind $0.25
XXSHEEVAAXX - Posts big blind $0.50
*** POCKET CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [Ad Kc]
GREGMAN - Folds
SCUBA67 - Calls $0.50
1CV81 - Raises $2.50 to $2.50
UNGOCHRIK - Folds
HERO - Raises $9.75 to $10
XXSHEEVAAXX - Folds
SCUBA67 - Folds
1CV81 - Calls $7.50
*** FLOP *** [5d 2c 7h]
HERO - Bets $11
1CV81 - Raises $28 to $28
HERO - Raises $139.50 to $150.50
<font color="blue"> Now I figured if he flopped a set, he probably woulnt raise with such a dry flop. So I decided to push, figuring 88, 99 wouldnt call.</font>

if you have the image of a bluffer... there is no chance i take this line... it looks like a huge bluff... if you said you were TAG and had a good image i MIGHT like it but still probably dont

Quite insane, i'll normally check here trying to get a look at a turn then cbetting which i'll occasionally do with alot of overpairs to mix it up.

I'll generally only try this bluff if i've been showing down very strong made hands and cbetting around 60%-70% of my raised pots and I have a good read that my opponent has the ability to lay down extremely strong hands.
After all if he whiffed completely then we have the best hand and it's not terrible getting to showdown cheap.

Also alot of his range here is pocket pairs and it's unlikely he's good enough to fold them when you 3betshove over him.

wtf kind of answer are you looking for? i said no i wouldnt do this unless i had a TAG image which you obviously dont and i still probably wouldnt do it then... its a terrible play... the only chance hes folding a better hand is if hes really worried about losing such a monster pot with only 1 pair

Can't covert AP hands.

C-bet more on flop or check because everyone thinks you're FOS and won't respect your c-bets (I c-bet this flop a lot anyway though). A half pot size c-bet is horribly weak.

As played fold.

cbet size is fine as long as you frequently bet like this in threebet pots on dry boards.

I was never big on All-in bluffs. Maybe that's why I'm in SSNL. Atleast you shouldn't be drawing dead.

Yeah, he probably has an overpair. You're 3-bet pre-flop might scare him into thinking you have one over his, but from what little I can tell he seems willing to stack off with you. Especially considering you have a loose bluffing image. The board may be dry, but he's probably thinking the same about you. He's likely putting you on a bluff or an overpair, and either way looks like hes willing to check you out.

Not a move I would do... atleast not in a cash game.

I do like the 3-bet pre flop, as it was able to eliminate scuba from the equation. I'd check/raise the flop if anything.

I love big slick, but I hate losing big pots with drawing hands.
