Expected Equity by Street

Hey guys,

anyone out there know of a software that does this?

I imagine it's not hard to make if it doesn't exist...well, it's not hard to make if you're somewhat competent in programming that is. (read: i can't make it)

What I mean is I'd like to put in some input, say player 1 has KsTc and player 2 has a random hand. What are their expected equities on the flop. (that is, expectation taken over all possible flops)

And then, naturally I'd like to be able to find expected equities on the turn too.

Thanks for any input.

Also, if anyone wants to develop this I'd be happy to pay a reasonable fee for it.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi fozzy,

Did I miss something?

I'm looking for a program that would be very similar to pokerstove. The difference being that poker stove only calculates expected equities on the river. I'll looking to know the expected equities on other streets.

Is there some trick to manipulating those equity calcs from pokerev?

Thanks,
Bill

I dont know very well, either. It has a street-by-street filtering that can be done - that I am clueless about. I was suggesting you ask Phil153(?), the maker of PokerEV, if his software will do what you want - by linking you to his software/thread.

The only I know of which does this is http://www.propokertools.com/simulat...tionEditor.jsp

Use the graph option. You can't get a meaningful estimate of equity on the flop averaged over all outcomes, as it will be identical to river equity. If you think about it, the average flop equity is the average of all possible flops taken to the river, which is the same as looking at all five card boards. However, a graph of the equity distribution on the flop can be useful.

I'm pretty sure the simulator of pokerprotools has a way of providing the data from the graph as text with a non documented feature, I think I saw that on a post in here.
