Dell vs HP
 

So I was all set to do a Dell computer but they are being extremely difficult which has led me to consider an HP. The problem with HP is that they are more expensive. Is this extra cost worth it? (a similiar computer woudl cost about 150-200 dollars more than the dell?)

I've used Dell's at work and have only had HP Pavilion's at home. Never had problems with HP desktops.

Just basic desktops....they arent perfect comparisons but they are pretty close. It is actually a bit more expensive to get the HP if I do an exact trade off, but I can afford to have some lower stuff mainly due to not needing it all that bad (500gig hd vs a 300 hd type stuff)
