AP Cliff Notes Thread
 

Hey everyone,

Is there anyway someone can post some semblance of cliffs notes about AP? I've been away for a while and there is no way i can read 15 threads with 1500 posts apiece. Can we sticky some CN thread for those who really want to figure out whats going on but are overwhelmed? Only Mods post in that thread, and every post is a relevant post with details about what's going on?

If it already exists (a CN thread), i think we should sticky it. I'd really like to figure out wtf is going, but there is so much damn stuff it's impossible. Thanks,

i still don't know all of whats going on. here's what i've gathered.

someone suspects they can see hole cards.
hh's are documented.
fairly conclusive evidence that they can see hole cards
AP denies cheating
AP admits some cheating.
2p2 digs deeper
AP says is rogue consultant.
AP says will refund all hurt parties.
2p2 suspects is much deeper than rogue consultant.

I really really think somebody who has been involved and knows the ins and outs should write a CN, and that thread should be sticked and controlled by the mods (no clutter posts, just informative CN additions as the story unfolds). it would really help those of us who can't read every 1500 page post and would like to hear the story told up to this point.

-There was at one point a stickied version of some of this.
I think I remember Adanthar saying it was taken down for srs bizness type reasons but am not positive without checking that.

-If you were gone for like a week- you need to know that we are kind of where we were a week ago- but many people have some/their money back now.

-There has been an interim statement from AP echoing much of the non-info of many other statements from AP.

-Mark Seif did a video interviewyou can find here

-There is supposed to be an ESPN story on some aspects of this. Not sure what happened with that ever. Ask Gary Wise imo.

- AJ Green is still in parts unknown.


There isn't a lot more to sum up without reading thru the threads.
I think it's fair to say those threads have tilted more people in the past week or two than any in recent history here.
