Since the 6 is dead and hearts are semi dead, this is a very donkish 3rd. The standard rule for playing small pairs is to have a high kicker or straight draw possibilities and live trip cards.

Re: Stud hi hand, playing a small pair

Third street is a special kind of horrible. You have an underpair with a dead kicker, your straight cards are out and you didn't even try to get it heads-up against what is likely another dead little pair. That's about every mistake it's possible to make. Fold>Raise>Call.

On Fourth you got decent pot odds to continue, and the cards took over control of your hand after that.

TBQH I was playing 5 hold em sngs meanwhile, and I played the hand in a bit of a vacuum. I have been playing crazy loose, probably bad too, this week. I don't know why

I wonder if you should fold 4th fearing that your flush draw is heavily weakened by the Td6d betting what appears to be a flush draw of his own, and with the pot so small anyway.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree - but I'm bad at 7stud high - is A22 playable or how low do pairs get to fit 'your' requirements?

Fold third. The rest looks fine.

He was all-in on my final raise I think. Anyway, I remember being more or less sure my flush was good, since he thought for a long time before raising my c/r.
