NL 50 over pair against a big over bet

55/1/.25/250
Villan is very loose passive, does this huge overbet thing when he thing when he thinks he is good, not as a bluff.
He did it before when I raised ak and he cold calls pre and does this funky overbet rr on a kxx flop and turns up with AKs.
I do not see him doing this with a draw ever and think I am going to see 27, 62, 67 or a set way more often than something i beat.
Does anything change if the flop were say a 9 or T high?

its so marginal. I think he has a pair hand...wether its a set or a pair bigger than yours is anyone's guess.

So that said, I dont hate a fold and I dont hate a shove.

Knowing how deep and loose SB is, could have called with large range 89d, J10d, KQd. At best (if he hasn't hit a set) you're slightly ahead. I don't hate a fold, shove if you think you're ahead and want to gamble to hold that lead. And knowing how nitty and bad I play I'd probably call and reevaluate on the turn. Anyone hate that play? Thoughts?

I think calling and revaluating isn't that good. We have only two outs two improve. I'm not putting 1/3d of my stack in to call and reval. I think it's shove or fold. The real question is would villian think he's good here with 88-TT?

I bet 4 on this drawy flop. As for his raise, he's really passive and you've only seen him do it with a big hand. I think he does this with 88-TT frequently, but he also does it every time he has a hand that beats you. I'm thinking fold here, but can't say i do it in practice.

Hence my nitty/leakage. Need to fix that . Good point nemesis, what goes to say if an over card diamond peels on the turn, check fold? Either a shove or fold OP, too spewey, and although I need to learn to do this, just fold and find a better spot.

With these stats, villain could be getting cute with AA/KK. I think you're behind more than he has a hand like A7. Pick a better spot to take his money.
