AA big pot multiple opponents

READS: table full of loose players a lot of cold-calling
UTG and CO are LP-P (calling station)
UTG+1 and Button (24.6/5.4/0.8) are LA-A (have seen button raising and betting with LP and every draw)
SB is TP-P

Pacific Poker

Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.
Pre-Flop is standard.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (12SB, 6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.
UTG raising probably means 2P or set- giving myself 3outs I just have enough odds to call/callDown.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (12BB, 6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.
I lead because I did not want to give any free card to a field that big. Buttons raise most likely is a 2P or he picked up a straight draw. I switched to calldown mode.

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (24BB, 6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Button checks.
four to a straight-I was willung to call one bet to avoid beeing bluffed out but would fold to a bet and a raise.

Results:
Final pot: 17BB

comments on all streets please.

I play it the same. Not much else you can do here. Your very likely behind after the button raises the turn, but its a pretty big pot by now, so just call down and hope you hold up. Pretty weird in a field this big no-one bet the river with a made flush or straight.

Three bet the flop, then when you lead the turn the entire hand will play differently.

With the flop 3bet, the pot will be close to 20 BB's by the turn (assuming everyone calls one more, which wouldnt be far off the mark). Anyone agree that bloating the pot this big is not doing much to protect our vulnerable overpair?

with that flop, and our position, it's not a case of protection any more. it's a case of make a huge pot so the times we're good we win lots of monies, and we can certainly get away from our hand given a lot of scenarios.

I agree 3 betting the flop!

But please explain why folding the river for one bet? We need to be good only 5%. Wouldnt it encourage players to bluff us out hands later on when we fold for one bet after beeing agressive the whole hand?

Protection's out the window now and now we just push our edge and pray. I agree with 3bet flop and leading turn. On river I'd call 1 bet in the big pot but would fold to more.

if youre going to lead that turn you might as well have 3 bet the flop
