I think you probably raised too little preflop.

The problem is that his range is still pretty wide and we're out of position, and a turn bet will make worse hands fold and better hands call.

I think I would still bet the turn. I would be betting it with a flush, a fh, TPTK, TP &amp; FD etc. The turn bet is a bluff though, it's really just a second barrel on the cbet. If I hit the flush I'd probably just check/fold anyway, it's only if a ten comes that the hand is any good.

I can see benefit in just giving up here, but that seems very weak.

I think I'd bet the turn, and barring hitting a T on the river, it'd be the last bit of money I put in.
