Ethics of deal-making in NFL Survivor League
 

So I'm down to 8 people left out of 60, with 2 getting paid. 2 other people left work with me, and I was discussing a deal with one of them today. Is it ethical to have a profit sharing agreement along with making sure we all don't go out on the same game.

If this OK, what's the best strategy?

League lets you pick any game where the line is less than 10 points. you can use the same team as many times as you'd like

THAY3R is correct on both counts. This is definitely collusion. You aren't supposed to coordinating picks with any of your competition.

However, by the nature of the game, especially by your rules, you may just be effing yourselves over. It's not like a legitimate hedging situation where one of you has to win (unless of course you were picking opposite sides of the same game). You could be knocking one or both of you out prematurely.

Just keep picking on your own and if you are the final 2, you can split the winnings. That's the only legitimate agreement you 2 should be able to make.

I agree with Thay3we and DKS. I don't know that my league has any rules against this, but I think it's collusive and would feel scummy doing it. Make a deal with the other guys if you want, but I'd keep the picks to myself
