$6 NLTRN, value or conservatism on river?

readless, still real early.

In this hand, are we looking to valuebet this river, or check behind?

On first hand I thought valuebet, we get things like a pair of 8s calling, or something like that.

Then I also thought about checking behind-- because if we don't check behind, and we do bet, and he does decide to check/raise, it'll likely be all in and we are now faced with a decision with one pair for all the chips...

Thoughts?

TPTK in a $6, not that scary of a board. This is a clear value bet. You wont get c/r that often.

Any 8 will likely call, as will any 9, and lower Qs. Lower Qs might even put more money in.

So bet, don't worry about a c/r on this type of board. If he does c/r you, worse Qs and busted flushdraws are prob in his range enough for you to call that too.

This is a bet all day. Players at this level are rarely aware enough to c/r, but will call off with plenty of worse hands.

Also, bet more on every street. At the 6s, you can end it in one hand if your opponent is stupid (which is probably the case).

fold?

lol, actually you have to put yourself on tough decisions to win poker
just value bet and see what happened. its hard to put villian on decent hand except two pairs which his got on river, if he does have smth good till river he plays bad.
