Ultra Tight players with 5-6% VIP
 

I haven't been running poker tracker /AHUD for a long time (2-3 weeks) but it seems common at the $50NL table to see at least 1-2 people out of the 4-tables I'm playing on with an insanely low VIP.

5-6% is basically Any PP + AK, or maybe 66+ AK, AQ, KQ or something along those lines.

What I'm wondering is, would someone playing that tight even make a profit? it seems the blinds would eat away all their money if hold out for the best hands.

What you guys think, what is the lowest VIP that still be +EV play.

edit: This is full ring 10 players I'm talking about.

full ring it would be ok if you are playing tonnes of tables. there are still enough donkeys who are gonna pay you off when you have AA.

well you'de be much more likely to commit suicide, so i guess you have to factor that in.

full ring this is actually a winning strategy. It clearly won't win the max but it wins money.

make sure you exploit them hard.

They win money off super donks, but they don't win money from bad tags and dont improve.

I once 20 tabled using this style, I quit after 4k hands. I was up 3 BI, but I think it will work in the long term aswell.
