Brag: Fully recovered from $17K downswing (lollercoaster)

Mostly 5/10, some 3/6, and a little 2/4.
Since the beginning of September (which is when I started playing primarily 5/10):

Confirm / deny suicide attempt at bottom of that downswing.

I hear massive amounts of carbon monixide can alter your brain a bit.

Deny. Was my first 20+ buy-in downswing, but I'm surprised with myself for how well I handled it, especially considering my previous largest downswing was only $5K (although I've had three of them). Obviously I didn't play many hands at all (21K in nearly 2 months? pfffff), but that's pretty standard for me when I'm on a bad downswing.

Feels great to know that even after having a $17k downswing, I'm making $1/hand . Hopefully sustainable, but I'm probably not good enough to keep up 5 PTBB/100 at 5/10. Although I DO feel that I exercise better table selection than nearly anyone at these levels.

I personally think I play a fairly low-variance style.

nice semi-breakeven stretch for 54 k hands as well.

Those stakes are as low as $.05/$.10 NL when I was re-evaluating my game (however first 10K was when I was a breakeven $.50/$1 player), so not in BBs, my friend.

Also, [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] LegoPoker's image hosting. So much better than Imageshack.

nice recovery xD you did well to stick to 5/10 - if that was me i would have been tilting off my whole roll at 25/50 after that sick downswing lol
