Brag: 52\" TV
 

I really should preceed this post by telling you I am completely un-balla in every way. My car is an old POS and I generally look like I belong on a building site.

Brag No.1: I was just talking to a friend of mine today who tells me that he's selling his 52" TV (plasma maybe- not sure with TV's) because he has moved back in with his parents and his Dad has an even bigger one so his is redundant and he doesnt use it anymore. So I ask him how much he wants for it and he goes 'Just give me £150 ($300) since it's you.' I'm like 'Woh' and hes serious he just wants rid of it. Its hardly been used and is in mint condition and has a touch screen remote and loads of other toys and cost him c.£3.5k ($7k) originally. So obviously I snap his hands off and im picking it up next week.

Brag No.2: This coincides nicely with me starting my new job next month where I will be living in company housing with 2 new colleagues. The HR person sent us an email today pretty much going 'The house is fully furnished but will require a TV in the living room' so I emailed my soon to be colleagues going 'let me sort this out hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised'. Hopefully they will then think I am a complete balla.

Brag: 52" TV for 5% of retail price
Brag (Variance?): Colleagues will think I am an uber-balla.

Prolly the same thing that people think when someone has a $45K car sitting out in front of the $400/mo ghetto apartment in which they are 2 months behind in rent on.

They don't make 52" plasmas imo. It's probably one of those old projection types that was 7k 12 years ago, enjoy!

Have you seen the tv? You should be able to tell if it's a plasma or not. Is it HD? Do you know anything about it besides it's a 52"?

If it has a touch screen remote i'm sure its LCD or plasma and fairly new. What other favours did you have to provide your friend with for such a good price?
