5/10 Flop trips and try to get a little tricky

Just sat down at this table and have no stats on villan. So there is really no history to mention. I tried to get a little tricky on the turn and hoped he'd check to my on the river and I could make a big bet looking like I was trying to bully him off a chop. Instead, he fires into me.

My question is: Do you think there is value in shoving here, hoping he's a donk who will think we're chopping with pair of A? Or is just calling best?

This may sound stupid...but I'd be more apt to shove on him if this were his only table. If he is unknown, I often check to see how many tables they are running and get any edge I can get...as I think guys who are playing 3+ tables are probably a bit more regular to a game than someone 1 tabling 5/10...

Anyway, regardless of tables being played, I def. think raising here has value...as how the hand was played...not to mention if you push and are called by another 9, it's probably going to be chopped up obviously, unless he has the A9 which is really the only hand I think here that plays it like this pf/flop/turn

short answer: I like a raise.

I think u bet too much, $250 is probably more profitable bet but I definitly bet

I'd shove, you only lose to 3 different hands (4 if you count AA, but that's unlikely.) He prob calls a shove with Ax more than he calls with a boat.

I would be confident taht you are good here but I dont see much value in raising, i just call here.

easy easy river push, especially since it looks like u are trying to move him off a split. Also I would realllllly bet the turn here and maybe even just push the flop

make it like 350 on the flop if you want to get tricky, shove river as played

Agree with the above, repop the flop. As played shoving river seems good.
