I don't know if I played this hand the best way possible or not. After the ace on the river it was hard for me not to call given that he could have anything. Comments on all streets welcome.

Edit: Removed stack sizes due to them being converted wrong.

Your play pre flop is standard, flop seems fine, i would maybe bet/fold bout $2 on turn on such a drawy board and the Ac river should make it easier to fold not harder because it completes draws. As played i would fold on riv

I would halfpot the turn. QJ/QT/JT improved here and will probably get excited and raise. and i dont like giving away a free card to a hand that has a FD a huge percentage of the time. As played, the river hurt you more than helped you, as you really only improve relative to the hands that would bet the turn. Maybe it was a strangely played KQ with a club from villain?
(all of this assuming 100bb stacks)

I love the avatar, btw

I'm with this guy.

I do like closer to PSB on flop, 2/3pot on turn, followed by 1/2pot b/f on river.

My river play kinda sucks in this situation. I just think checking the river shows too much weakness. Would like to know if that's bad play...

I would definately have b/f the turn. More often than not, that second bullet is going to win you the pot. If you are just called, proceed very cautiously on the river. Probably c/f.

As played, its hard to tell if you are beat or not. There are still 9 clubs plus four kings unaccounted for. A lot of hands beat yours.

I don't really see the villian betting that river unless they hold a club, and a decently strong one. I'd have to go with a fold.
Betting the turn would have been a good move.

Would you make this call on the river with the 2c?

Top set is a very strong hand...but not on a 4 flush board.

As said above, i'm definitely betting this turn to charge the flush draw because thats what it looks like he has after calling your flop bet.

I like your 2 of clubs example. If you're not gonna call with a baby flush, why would you call with something that can't even beat that?
