10/20 villan sucks pretty bad. He raises to 70 utg and I call with T9 on the button.

Flop comes Q93 rainbow. he checks. "Sweet" I say to myself " an outside straight draw." I bet 120 and he calls.

Turn is the 8, "Nice, I made the straight! Nuts baby!". He checks, I bet 333, he calls.

River is the 8. He checks. "Hmm, hes a big fish, so ill overbet 1800 into 1090, hes gonna call with any Q and he probably wasnt calling with a 9 anyways so I like that bet size."

Villan insta calls with KQ. "SHIPPPPPPP, WAIT, WTF, WHY IS HE GETTING THE CHIPS."


I break things, sit out of my tables and cry in the corner.

I did the same thing with K high once, thinking I had the nut straight.
Only difference is that it was at 0.1/0.2 LHE, but losing that 1.5 bucks really sucked.

man i hate this

i def once bet $330 into $90 thinking i had bottom full against a total whale whom i knew had just tripped the river.

i had middle pair.
