New player needing help :)

Just recently started playing full ring 100nl and some 200nl on stars. I was curious from the more experienced players which do u think u have a better edge over... 100NL 200NL or 400NL??? Also in your opinion how do u think say 100/200NL 6 max buying in full compares to say 400NL full ring buying in short for say 240.

I ask this because watching several friends play 400nl FR short they seem to do very well where as the same players seem to struggle at 6max 200NL say buying in full.. Opinions greatly received. I am tempted to try 400NL full ring but dnt want to if the edge is actually alot less here, I just see alot of 2p2 and good players playing 100/200 6max these days.

Thanks alot

Buying in for 50BB is pretty stupid IMHO. If you are going to short-stack keep it at 20BB.

As for having more of an edge at 400NL than 100NL.... um, what?

My edge is the biggest @ 300/600nl, because I can play perfect shortstack poker.

pineapple thats the thing though is it that simple?? is it as simple as 25NL is the easier then 50NL is slightly harder etc etc..I just find watching things like full ring 400nl I see alot of people taking shots or limping LP with KK with 2 limpers before.... Also buying in short alot of good players automatically thing ur a donkey and are more inclined to pay u off I find as its not even a full buy in to call. I also questioned more so is 400NL full ring buying in short possibly going to give a better edge for good players than buying in full at 100/200NL 6 max where u have a ton of regulars??

3/6nl != 300/600nl.

i may be wrong, but im pretty sure that the phrase "giving a better edge" doesn't make any sense at all. if what you are talking about is hourly rate, then just work out what your hypothetical winrates at each level are and work out where the hourly is better.

IDK try it and see. I just avoid the regs at 6m and target the fish. Maybe there's more $$ to be made mega-tabling FR short-stack, I know at least one player who did very well with that strategy for a long time, but it's a huge grind.

Well now I have no idea what you are talking about so I'll stop there. Thanks for the input.

Every level is harder than the one underneath it, though the difference between each level is not the same.

Start at the micros and build up a bankroll.
