I just heard the best caller on sports radio ever
 

Some guy, sounded about 70 calling into the Ty Willingham show.

"You guys have a good young running quarterback, but I see he's always in the shotgun. I think that's hurting him. He should be running the triple option or the single wing. You know, like they do with that Dixon kid in Oregon. I think you're hurting him with that shotgun."

Between this and some lady in my office CALLING her bank to see if a check has cleared, I'm pretty sure I'm capable of time travel.

some guy thinks a running QB would be better with the option than the shotgun.

I tend to root for UW as long as they're not playing WSU. It's just I feel no pain when they lose. I did get awfully attached to the basketball team a few years ago, mostly because I'd written off WSU ball forever (lol).

UW went to WVU to learn their spread shotgun option offense specifically for Locker. He runs a ton and they run a lot of option. The tone from the caller was "shotgun=pass=mad" and I'm pretty sure he would have been happier in the wishbone or some kinda 1930s style offense that viewed passing the ball as an act of moral terpitude. He clearly hadn't watched more than about 2 minutes of UW football all year.

Calling your (large, national) bank to see if a check has cleared instead of checking it online is crazy talk.

Wow. How grown-up of you to confine the hate to a single day of football. I guess living on the West Coast softens one's head. (If the shoe was on the other foot, do you think Huskies would be cheering on the Irish?)

I think you're assuming everyone thinks/acts like you. some people find is easier to pick up the phone and talk to people than hunt around a website.
