in LH, what\'s the worst hand that could still get pot odds to call PF?
 

What I am basically trying to figure out is how to know when pot odds will justify junk hand calls. I don't expect there to ever be a limit hold em situation where 27os is called preflop, but what range of hands could you call with in situations where you have like 9-1 or 10-1 pot odds preflop, that under normal scenarios would be preflop folds? FYI I usually play micro stakes online and low stakes in casino.

According to Sklansky's ranking, these are the worst cards you should ever play (or at least he doesn't bother to even rank chands worst than this).

Group 8: 87, A9, Q9, 76,42s, 32s, 96s, 85s, 58, J7s, 65, 54, 74s, K9, T8

If you are in SB and it's only half a bet to complete and there are a few limps, than you could complete with anything connected and maybe 2-gap suited cards. But you have to fold almost every flop.

But in general, junk hands are bad news. Even if you make your hand, it may not be good, and when the flop hits you a bit, like with top pair, no kicker, with something like 97s, your equity is very small, and you will get in trouble if you aren't willing to let that go.
