my own thoughts r that i shouldve stacked off because its not often sum1 is gonna limp call with aj,queens, kings or aces and i dont c y he would play a set so fast on this board (i also think he couldve limp called with junky jacks and flop two pair). So, i beat a mental jack and a pure bluff, I just hate stacking off in a small pot with such a weak holding and no reads - do u guys call?

ya, i agree that calling to stack off is better than shoving since he still has rope to hang himself, but is this def a spot to stack off? I feel like im too nitty in these spots so i wanted to c if it is clear that i should felt my hand.

Fold, make note. I don't think it's very close.

not disagreeing but what do u put him on that hed play this way that beats us (i just have trouble seeing sets and even two pairs going nut aggro on such a dry flop)? *also, this is a pretty good flop to bluff c/r.

Re: Stack off with tp2k?

It's true that it's a nice flop to bluff-checkraise and there is a decent chance it's a bluff. But the Villian is unknown. Sets make up a large part of his holdings - limp UTG/call raise is usually low pocket pairs I find but I wouldn't discount an overpair or AJ either. If he's doing this with air or something like 55 and you call it's unlikely he'll bluff off the rest of it on the turn after you commit that much of your stack because it doesn't look like you're going anywhere. But if he has you beat you pay off and you're drawing slim to this range of hands. I like to get a read before stacking off is this kind of situation. Maybe that's a bit weak.
