10NL: KK: when would you have stopped betting?

this is the hand

I don't know thow to put them directly

How can I detect this? How can I know this player is so passive? I had 31 reads on him, he played 30% of them qith an AF of 0.9... is this so low?!? how would you have played this hand?

thanks

well.. usually I'd not bet the river... depending on my read i would either c/c or c/f....

And what to do if he bets? I'd have called anyway, so better if I attack first, isn't it?

there are not many draws on the flop so a call with a made hand is more probable than with a draw. After the turn oponent's range can be like

88+, 44, 33, J8, 43, 65, 8sxs
sometimes A8, K8, Q8 if he does not believe the J helped us

A lot of his range beats you but he only has little left on the river and it is unlikely he will bluff at you (unlikely he has a missed draw) so I think the push on the river is not bad.

I might be totally wrong but in my opinion you played the hand OK .

One thing though. Did you bet full pot on flop and turn? The board is quite dry you should consider smaller bet sizes.

there is over 5$ in the pot and villain has 2.2 behind. I do not think we can check/fold for so little.

If we are beat (set, 2 pair, straight) villain will most likely bet and we would have to call.

If villain is beat (8x, 99, TT, QQ) he will most likely check behind (he might bet QQ but that's about it)

So if we know that he is unlikely to check behind with a better hand and we are going to call our only concern is to extract value from hands that we beat. We can only do that by betting. So I think in this hand betting river is better than checking.

If we were deeper than I would check and probably call about a 1/2 pot bet or fold if he bets bigger.
