Playing high flushdraws in stud8

When can it be ok to play hands like (A9)J of diamonds in stud8? Do these hands go in the muck?

Sorry I don't have to much to say on the topic. I just throw it away unless the A is showing and I can steal or something. I don't know why, how or when I learned to throw to it away though

i always throw these away, i guess its because i'm not a stud hi player. However according to zee they are playable in large multiway pots if its cheap and your cards are live

Since the levels I am playing at seem to have pretty low FE, it doesn't really matter too much what my up card is to me. if they get anything, we's showin it down... So I like these in large pots, and hopefully with planty of POW's.

I do nto think they should be played aggressively, like they might be in hi, unless the hand is short, then I might feel a little LAGtard is warrented.

I'll play hands like this for one bet or less in multi-way pots, or I'll play if it looks like it will be a one-way pot. In any case, no more than one diamond can be showing, and it's good if pair cards are live too.
