Mega Beat: 1st Raptors home game already sold out.
 

I live in Ottawa and was planning on going down to T.O. for the November 4th home season opener against the revamped CELTICS. I've been eagerly checking the Raptors site everyday for the last month waiting for the tickets to go on sale. I check last night at 11 and they were finally available for purchase. However, (10 hours into the tickets being on sale) it was impossible to get 2 tickets in the same row...

WTF! This blows.

Me and a buddy were thinking about driving up for this game, but my travel schedule has my flying in the saturday before so I nixed it. Looks like it was a good decision.

They're likely holding some tickets until the game gets closer. Keep at it.

This was to be expected. Not only do people want to see the Celtics, but the Raptors have really been getting love since Colangelo came aboard. One day we'll be louder than Arco Arena.

Craigslist, Ebay, Stubhub, look around man.

I got opening night vs. Wiz for the Celtics on stubhub. Paid a decent amount, but I need to go, so w/e.

I have tickets. I got on ticketmaster at 12:00..minor F up, and by 12:04 the only tickets available were Sprite Zone. (aka worst seats in the house). Thankfully I did get good tickets for the second Celtics game [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]


Oh by the way..tickets went on sale over a week ago. You need to sign up for the Raptors Insider..it's a newsletter. Subscribers get a password to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

dammit, guess I should't have deleted that email from the Raptors about a month ago... Say I wanted to get 2 tickets fairly close to each other through ticketmaster, is it possible to do so? All I can talk to when I call Ticketmaster is a dumb robot lady...

Why didn't you buy them when you checked at 11:00? It sucks and all, but if I wanted to go that badly I wouldn't have taken any chances.
