AA on ugly flop, disgusting turn... is this standard?

The only hand I've shown is KK. Is this standard, or too weak?

This is easier to understand

Hero: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I would still lead the turn.
A 9 seems pretty unlikely in a raised pot. If I'm villain, I play it the same with Jx as this board looks scary as hell and with checking hero just gave up the pot.

Yeah, after the hand I wished I woulda fired at the turn and shut down after that instead of just giving up when the scare card hit. How much on the turn?

Check-folding the turn isn't bad at all, but I think I fire another turn bet of approx 2/3 pot size. Give up on further resistance...

The bet amount from villain (650) seems about right.
It's 2/3 of the pot and gets the job done ... which is why I would have made a 2/3 pot-bet on the flop too. It can look weak/strange if you always make a PSB and all of the sudden make it 2/3.

If villain check-raises, I'm obv done with the hand.

If we fire again on the turn:

Is this a value-bet or a bluff then?

I probably wouldn't bomb the flop, as I would want to bet most turns if called. 250 seems better. Leading turn isn't bad for 2/3.

Can be both. If villain is able to call with KQ, QQ, KK it's a value bet.

But because we never want villain to call/raise here, you can also see it as a bluff.
