Are low pairs not profitable early or is this just a bad beat

where did i go wrong in this hand

my thoughts are that it is fine to limp call with low pockets is this right or wrong ?

Preflop is fine, but dude, what are you doing on the flop? Why are you not betting out with a set, in a 6-way pot, with a flushdraw on board?

You need to. When you play sets like this, often the results won't be what you want by the river- suckouts on sets are really not cool.

With that many players in the hand I'd be betting out on the flop. Especially with that flush draw there.

Yup, gotta echo what the others said. Save the checking for the 3K8 rainbow flops.
