Question of Strength

How can I really take CP seriously when he says eating natural foods gained him 12 lbs of LBM in 5 days?

Next, WTF is this about asian carb adaption? I'm not ultra expert, but I'd love to see a reference about how divergent evolution has struck the diets of azn people in such a short time span.

I think I've been propounding him being off his [censored] rocker for a while. Even his training advice is total "WTF?" like to build big shoulders... Do a 3 lateral raise superset?!?

Re: Question of Strength

From the linked article:

I was at 8% and weighed 198 pounds.[...] five days later, after eating only Dominican Republic foods, I weighed 209 at 6% body fat.

That's >14 lbs of lbm in five days. (Had he take a dump? Clearly, the man was full of something.)

I didn't read the whole thing. It kind of has the ramble-y air of a blow hard on a roll, fading in and out of coherence.

Re: Question of Strength

I'm still thinking about this claim. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that that 5 day gain as a percentage of body mass would be remarkable for a newborn/sub 6 month old baby.

edit again: I keep effing up this link.... I guess you have to cut and paste.

Pretty much all of the super-specific nutrition advice on T-Nation is just made up or based on very very thin evidence and extrapolated way out of domain.
