2008 WSOP Dates Announced
 

Per a press release I received, May 30 - July 17.

The exact schedule of events TBA. A "soft opening" will begin on May 26th (for two special events) to "avoid the lines we had last year during opening weekend...."

I thought they were gonna bump it up a little but this is pretty much the same as 2007.

FWIW, May 30th is a Friday and May 26th is Memorial Day (Monday).

Hope they use nath's suggestions for the deck. SEVEN! lol

Can someone Please post the schedule of events (dates/times/buy-in/Etc.)?? I am unable to access any "gambling" websites while I am on Vacation (content filter from WIFI access point) and I am dieing to see what the schedule is going to be.

June 6: Stud
June 7 - June 14: Holdem

June 16 - June 24: Holdem
June 25: Ladies Holdem
June 26 - July 5: Holdem
July 6: Blindfolded 2-7 Lowball Chinese Triple H/L with rebuys (Daniel N. must still be on the games commitee)

Sorry. They don't play Indian Poker any more. But you can find a game of "Native American" holdem at some of the smaller card rooms.
