$15+1 - Typical Spot, a Couple Questions

Hey all,

Here’s a pretty typical spot that I analyzed after a recent SNG. I guessed at what a good shoving range could be – and I was a little off.

So, as an exercise (played out as it may be), I was hoping some of you would provide your input and say what you would shove in this spot, w/o consulting software.

$15+1 Turbo on Stars.

Blinds: 100/200/25

Stacks before posting:

UTG: 3198
CO: 4454
B: 2562
SB: 1899
BB: 1387

Hero is in the CO for this hand.

Image: Solid, somewhat aggressive. I haven’t been auto-raising every hand up to this point though yet. Raising IP w/ no flops mainly.

Reads: Opponents are somewhat tight, no one is playing too out of line.

Calling ranges/stacks after posting:

B (2562): 99+,AJs+,AQo+ (5.4%)
SB (1899): 77+,AJs+,AJo+ (7.2%)
BB (1387): 66+,A9s+,KQs,ATo+ (9.5%)

a) What are you typically shoving here?
b) Are my assumed ranges off? If so, how?

Why are you just thinking of "shoving" with over 20BB's? You have other options which are much more optimal. If you have a reasonable hand, (77+,AJ+) make a raise and see what happens behind you. The chip stacks are vital at this point. I.E. the button calling means you need a stronger hand than the BB calling. Specific hands are much better for discussion.

Well, the first bit is easy. I'm not shoving anything in that spot.

BB is a bit tight. I'd expect him to call a fair bit looser than that.
