NL10: TT as overpair - call a shortie\'s flop shove?

The villain bought in for $6 only a few hands earlier. He's been limp-folding a lot, and called down cheaply once with a rather questionable hand (AJ). I expect him to leave the table without reloading if squeezed dry.

I suspect the villain would have 3bet QQ+/AK pre-flop, so I'm not really worried about those. A pair of jacks is my biggest concern, since it'd make sense played like this. What other hands would a he first underbet and then shove?

If it's a set, he certainly got lucky. Can I call here and see him turn over a weaker hand often enough?

If your not happy about getting it all-in here then dont raise the flop.

you have to call here, your gonna get shown 87/A8/99/55/77 enough of the time here.

I called all right, pretty much expecting to see A8 or 99. He had JJ -- **it happens, that's poker. I'm not at all displeased for getting the stacks in at that point but whether I should have aimed for that was another matter.

Just calling with an overpair on a board like that would have felt so wrong.
