Did the 8/16 game at Red Rock die or something?

The last three times I went there to play it during what I thought would be prime hours it was either 4 handed or not running at all. Did they never recover from that rake increase fiasco? Did the game move somewhere else?

I guess my only options now are Bellagio and Wynn, eh? Sucks because I thought the Red Rock game was REALLY soft...

It was going this afternoon, along with 3 4/8 games.

I guess my timing just sucks then. I called on Friday night at 8PM and it wasn't going.

It started at 2:00 yesterday afternoon (Sat). For the last week or two it has been going most days.
I and another guy are going to try to get a 15-30 going next weekend. I give it a 30% chance.

Im in Vegas right now and mid limits here suck. Wynn had no $15-30 going last night...it broke early. Bellagio had about 4-5 $15-30 games going Friday- Saturday. Games were pretty good. At most they had one $8-16. Venetian had nothing above $4-8 Friday late night. I didn't check Mirage, but saw a couple Mirage $10-20 regulars at Wynn and Bellagio so I assume Mirage sucked too. FWIW, there were some really awful players that don't know how bad they suck in the Bellagio $15-30. One young azn with a green cap covering half his face was particularly horrible(4 bet my late position 3 bet of a solid UTG raiser with kqo and lost the absolute max when his two outer got there...that I could easily call the flop 3 bet and fold the turn was an absolute indicator of how bad both players were, later 4 bet the turn against my turned str8 with AA and called my 5 bet and river bet), and ran from $1200 up to over 2500 and then down to under $600.

The game WAS really soft. These casino execs with their greed and stupidity shot themselves (and those of us who liked the 8-16) in the foot. They killed the game, the room still hasn't recovered from the rake fiasco. They shot themselves in the face too, as there's a lot more spillover from the poker room to the casino than any casino boss realizes. Reason for that? No spreadsheet from accounting shows the effect. I could write one that would clarify things greatly, but it would cost them. I also have certain personal knowledge of the casino players red rock was losing by their rake jack, BIG.

At the moment it appears to me that vegas poker is the worst run in the country. Thank the big corporations and their acronym classes for not being able to see past the end of their own noses for that.
