Wanting thoughts on playing style under these conditions

Hi all,

I generally only play internet poker for fun ($3 SnGs on PS, slowly making profit). I've just started playing a weekly game with about 10 people, and would really appreciate any thoughts on playing style.

It's $10 buy-in NL tournament, starting around 8pm, and $10 rebuys are allowed until 11pm if you lose all your chips (but no add-ons). I wouldn't want to pay for more than one rebuy per game though. There's only one prize, winner takes all.

We start with 200 chips each, and blinds are 1/2 until 11pm, giving a good 3 hours with tiny blinds. They then go up every half hour in the standard increments: 2/4, 3/6, 5/10 etc.

Play is a lot looser than my internet games, with usually at least 5 people to every flop, and some really bad hands being played. Should I be playing most hands, since the blinds are so cheap? Or keeping to my usual tightish style? The blinds seem tiny to me, but I have no other experience with home games or casino games so I don't know.

There are no prizes for 2nd place, so does that mean extreme aggression when the blinds (eventually) get big?

Thanks!

What percentage of the players usually rebuy and how many rebuys do they usually do?

Rebuys allow for slightly looser play as you know if you bust out you can always come back in again.

But if everyone is playing loose and the blinds are small I am generally inclined to tighten up a little. With 5 people to every pot you know that when you hit your monster you are getting paid, no point bleeding chips with marginal hands before that.

Once the blinds start to get a bit higher loosening up a little in an attempt to steal blinds becomes more profitable, it will also be easier as others tend to tighten up to maximise their chances at getting in the money.

It's playing like a cash game for the first 3 hours. 100 BB deep.

Edited to add: I don't see why you wouldn't be willing to rebuy more than once.
