PLO10 - Top set looking for value

Full Tilt Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $19.60
CO: $16.90
Hero: $23.30
SB: $3.65
BB: $12.35

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls, CO raises to $0.45, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($1.85, 4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, CO bets $1.85, Hero ?

CO has been aggressive with plenty of preflop raising and cbetting. BB seems a tad passive if anything and UTG seems solid, but neither have done anything much worth noting. Should I be raising ~$5 or full pot here with 2 players behind me? Anyone for a flat call?

$5.25 looks good here. Flat calling is terrible.

raise the pot and when the hand is over go out and celebrate with all that money you won

Raise pot and pump fist. Buy *****'s new book with winnings and learn more.

Bah, thinking that flatcalling is terrible is terrible. If you'd ever flat-call here with AKQT, you must be occasionally flat-calling with top set. There's no flush draw, so slowplaying in position is viable, especially with other people behind you that can now try to squeeze or valueraise and find that you've got top set when you shouldn't. The flat-call with the nuts should be a play in your repertoire. I'm not saying that you have to call here, I'd say about 30/70 for calling/raising as this way you get less value should the bettor have JJJ, but you definitely need to be mixing up your play for metagame/pure value reasons.

I agree with you in general Wazz, but this is PLO10. In my experience at the 25 and lower levels, OP can get the money in and be called by much worse. In general at these levels, it is best to just get the $$ in and hope that you run at or above equity.
