CC hasn't pitched against the Yankees in 3 years, and has dramatically improved over that span, advantage Tribe tonight!

Should be an interesting series, the Indians have the # 1&2 starters in terms of VORP and the Yankees have tremendous hitting, Indians need first two games as Byrd/Westbrook against this lineup isn't looking to great.

love to hear that...i rooted for the white sox, twins and tigers in recent years, even though i HATED all of them just days or weeks earlier...

Stupid stat I heard the other day:

For the past whatever number of years (6?), every time the Yanks win the first game of a series, they end up losing the series; and conversely, every time they lose the first game, they supposedly win the series.
