Mid PPs in Raised/RR pots?!?!

HAND #1
Villain is 76/37/2 over 40 hands. We have played a couple pots prior at another table, so I felt as though he could also be getting tired of me raising him and taking down pots. Im killing his range PF.....How should I have played this or is this fine???

HAND #2
Villain is 40/0/1.5 over 40 hands. I knew he didnt have a 9 or a 3 here because of previous play. I guess I have to lay this down if I can rule out him having paired the board??? With such a low aggression factor was it wrong of me to put him on a FD/Overs then as I did? Should I have called the c/r and folded to bet on turn or play it as I did??

Re: Mid PPs in Raised/RR pots?!?!

hand #1 you should fold the flop. There was a 3bet and 4 bet preflop, you're beat by one of them if not both.

hand #2 Um... If you're SURE he doesn't have 9x or 3x here, i think it's fine, but honestly I don't see 77 being best here on the flop after the 3bet, especially vs a villian with those stats.

Re: Mid PPs in Raised/RR pots?!?!

Hand 1: while you may be killing his range preflop (has he been 3betting a lot in those 40 hands?), you really have to think twice about the way he's playing that flop. Do you think he'd play it the same with 55-88, as those seem to be the only hands you're way ahead of here. You could be flipping with a flush draw with two overs, and could also be way behind another overpair.

Hand 2: I don't like this. How can you rule those cards out of his hand due to 'previous play' over only 40 hands? I just fold to the flop 3bet, and may even just flat his flop lead
