Some times I use this tactic with AK. Cant remember who said it (maybe Slansky or Harrington), that AK is better preflop and its best for you to take down the pot there. I usually use it a bit later in the game - Im not sure if it apply to level 1.

the only thing i can stack him with postflop is if he has AQ on an Axx flop. he knows i am too nitty to go broke with AT or A9 on Axx flop.

Dunno if this is serious but I dont think any of the 16 tabling 60 regs are stacking off with worse than tptk in L1, in fact Im pretty sure none of them would esp against another solid player.

To the original hand, I think its ok in a vacuum, but I think if it becomes your standard move you'll end up losing value when you have KK+ facing a raise and you want to reraise against a reg who sees you do this. As for what you SHOULD do, meh I hate AK in these situations, I mix in calls and reraises and I dont particularly like either.

i just ran this in wiz, pushing is worth .34% if he opens 20% and only calls my push with AKs QQ+.

is that too small of an edge for L1?

Does villain really opens 20% (55+,A7o+,A3s+,K9o+,K8s+,QJo,QTs+)?

If villain is opening lesser, how does this effect the EV%?

i think that looks like right. his full table pfr=9, so he must be opening the button pretty wide. it is difficult for multitabler to have pfr=9 full table, but this guy does it.

if he opens wider then pushing will be greater than .34% that i showed earlier vs his 20% range.
