Villan is new at the table and i have never played him before. On what kind of hand do you put him on? Honestly I had no clue. I guess a set would have raised the flop. Mabye two pair? Spade draw?

Anyways. What is our plan here on this river?

bet / fold like I would have played?
bet / call
c / c?

This is an easy bet/call, because you are getting 3:1 on a push.

Re: NL100 Flopped straight: riverplan vs unknown

[*] Well played. Villain probably sucks considering he openlimped and how he played postflop. So after the turn he probably has some random [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]s, Jx, two pairs, Qx, worse straights ... . Jx most likely. So b/f'ing the river seem appropriate. The times he calls you with a worse hand def. outweigh the times he decides to bluff the river with a whiffed draw when you check.
Meh .. we can maybe even b/c.
