Overpairs...

1)

Villain is 31/23, but only 1.7 aggro factor.
Went to SD - 33%, won 56%.
So, basically he likes to see a lot of flops, but generally cautious postflop and generally has it, when goes to showdown.

Hero: $1612
UTG+1: $1234
CO: $728.24
Button: $1062

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $38, 2 folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.

BB checks, Hero bets $100, Button raises to $315.

What's the best line here?
Call and c/r allin on the turn?
Shove now?
Call and bet-call turn?
I don't see how i can fold...

2) Villain is 14/12/5.Solid tight TAG, who seems to run like God against me.
I cannot consider folding on this board, right?

I fold the first and snap-call the second.

Re: Overpairs...

You really fold the first one?
Think this a set more often than not?

Re: Overpairs...

So, in hand one you propose a check calling mode all the way or fold turn?
I can't fold river, since there will be virtually no money left behind...

Re: Overpairs...

If I recall correctly you play pretty tight so I am sure all three of the sets are well within his range given that you raised UTG. Given the info in the OP it doesn't sound like he's raising a worse hand than yours for value. So we're left with sets/2pairs and bluffs (perhaps straight draws since a couple are possible).

Calling the flop raise will certainly tip him as to your hand strength and so I think if you really want to make sure you can call here and fold if he fires the turn, but in general I don't think players put in 1/3 of their stack to bluff a near pot-sized bet on this kind of board with air.

This is the kind of spot which gets more interesting with history...

Hand 1 is tricky but I think going to felt here is ok, c/r the turn all in.

Re: Overpairs...

I am tight, but by no means nitty and people play back at me frequently cause i 3bet light etc etc.

But i think you are right, he will not fire again on the turn with hands i beat (and even JT will take a free card on the turn, although he rarely has JT commiting himself).

No real deep history between, just standard 3betting preflop, vb good hands etc.

Re: Overpairs...

Don't fold either

1. Call (or sometimes raise). If your opponent is bluff happy, I say call the flop as well as future bets from him. If he's straitforward ABC (seems what you are describing), then call flop and lean towards c/f on the turn.

2. Call.
