25PLO top set vs total uknown scary board

Villan has just sat down and is totally unknown, whats the standard line in this spot?

Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $26.35
BB: $17.65
UTG: $24.65
CO: $54.05
Hero (BTN): $26.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG raises to $0.85, CO folds, Hero raises to $2.90, 2 folds, UTG calls $2.05

Flop: ($6.15) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG bets $6.15, Hero?

Whats your play vs. a total unknown?
Cheers

This looks like a bet by jtxx without flush redraw. Middle set would certainly check/raise because the assumption (not the truth) when someone reraises preflop is that they have AAxx. I like call and shove any checked turn. Shoving flop is ok, but not great.

Yeah I thought the same about jtxx with no flush during the hand, and your line was how I played it, but afterwards I thought shoving is probably better but interested in others thoughts too

If middle set check/raises the flop then why wouldnt JT without a redraw do the same?

Because middle set is fine getting allin versus aces on the flop. jt without a redraw knows that aces may check behind with flush draw or even have decent equity to call check raise allin.

really?? i cant see the value in shoving here - JT is calling and everything else we beat is going away. i prefer call/shove way ahead of this as we are totaly forfeiting our position by shoving flop

My point was, why wouldn't a set use the same reasoning if they put themselves ahead of aces and don't have a flush re-draw?
