My thinking on this hand is muddled. The river seems like a clear fold, but I wonder about the flop and turn. Thoughts?

I like to reraise preflop.

As played, I like a bet on the flop.

As played, I call the tiny river bet getting 5:1.

I usually only three-bet preflop with QQ+ in the early going. It seems like keeping the pot small is just as worthwhile with JJ as with AK, but I'm interested in alternate reasoning. I think a fire-and-forget bet on the flop is probably best. A river call may also be best given the odds, but it must be pretty marginal either way.

I'd lead 160 on flop, we got position on sb and if he had anything hed probably bet out.

As played i'd raise turn 250+. Hes not supposed to have anything which got help by that turn, and hes just betting since all checked on the flop.

As for the river he probably had that ace so i think fold might be ok, but with 1:5 odds im not sure its better then call, we only have to win it like once a year to break even, it also might give us some information on our player to the right which can't harm ever..

I'd also bet t160 or so on the flop and see where that left me.

I also think a reraise prefop is in order. A reraise probably gets rid of Button. I would rather go headsup with JJ. I have to believe that we are ahead SBs range.

I'm also betting on flop.

I always hate it when I potentially lose on river. I think you could have won this put w/o showdown and think that is certainly one of the goals early on.... chipping up, that is.

This early in a SNG I am usually merely calling a raised pot with JJ. If I played with villian before and know he would (donkishly) raise aggressively here, I would reraise.

Edit: After more thought, I think it's a mistake not to reraise PF. It is highly unlikely you are behind. If SB then pushes, you can then comfortably fold.

Once that flop comes with no K or A and the initial raiser checks, I am betting about 2/3rd the pot.

Having checked the flop, I call the turn bet.

calling/raising pre is hugely read dependent imo
