Studying Abroad

i also posted this in student life but want to get some more responses. I am looking to study abroad next semester in either London or Australia. I am also open to other places as long as you don't have to learn a different language. Any comments or other choices?

I'd pick Australia over London. I'm in Paris right now, and it's incredible. I've heard good things about Australia though...only problem is you won't be able to travel to as many countries as you would if you were studying in Europe.

You might also want to look into South Africa.
Great climate, great looking gals, and it's fairly cheap.

I highly recommend Australia. I studied abroad there at University of New South Wales and absolutely loved it. I lived about a block from the beach and went out almost every night. London is cool too, but it's ridiculously expensive, especially now that the dollar is in the toilet. But no matter what you do, go somewhere. Most of my friends in college studied abroad and I can't think of a single one of them who regretted it.

I would get over the language thing. Most of a fascinating places in this world don't speak English, and you can get by anywhere in the first world (and almost anywhere else) without knowing the language.

I studied abroad in Paris and New Zealand; both were awesome. Paris gave me a much better chance to travel around, so I would suggest that to someone who hasn't been abroad much yet.

Why not NZ, if you need English? Or Scotland, if that's possible.

I wouldn't be too interested in spending the cash to study in London, but a lot of that is just my distaste for places that feel so similar to the US. For some reason Australia's never been able to catch my interest, although I've never been there.
